Synopsis: A fisherman fishing in the lake. He is surrounded by garbage and industrial waste. The bottom of the lake as well... The only fish left in the lake is so emaciated – just skin and bones, and it is looking for food. The fish eats something out of a barrel and... it suddenly turns into a monster... and throws the barrel out of the water.

The task is to create a one-minute animated film with an eco message on one of three topics:

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 31, 2012
The 9 best films selected by the jury will be awarded at the official Award ceremony of the 3rd International Animation Film Festival "Golden Kuker - SOFIA" on June 16, 2012.

REQUIREMENTS
Duration: 60 sec.
Animation technique: no restrictions
The director of the film must be a student or a former student (graduated in 2010 or 2011) at a school/college/university in Bulgaria, in either "Animation", "Scenography", "Filmmaking", "Graphic Design", "Advertisement ", "Photography", "Computer Science", "Multimedia" or other programmes related directly or indirectly to filmmaking.
A group of people can work on the project, the prize will be split only among those, who match the requirements.
The film must not have participated in festivals and/or other competitions.
After receiving a prize in the contest, the winner must provide evidence that the award is utilized for educational purposes or objectives related to their career as an artist (examples: participation in professional workshops to improve skills, purchase of equipment directly related to the career, payment of a semester at school).
